THE TRAVELLING TEACHER
Since 2006 I have specialised in teaching German and English as a foreign and second language.
I have been teaching Business English as well as Technical English as a lecturer at the Foreign Language Institute at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Karlsruhe) since 2008. Additionally, since 2016 I have been working as a lecturer for the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
Furthermore, I work as a language trainer and coach for international companies, medium-sized enterprises, European research institutes and organisations as well as private individuals (see references).
From my own experience of living in a foreign culture, such as two years living and working in France (Paris & Périgord) as well as numerous business trips to England, I know how experiencing foreign cultures can enrich your life, on the one hand, and lead to misunderstandings or even culture shock, on the other.
Therefore, I offer you tailored language courses AND intercultural trainings to increase your success and your personal and professional life quality.
In addition to the classic training courses, I organise practical and experience-oriented elements like language tours, language events, language lunches and language hiking tours.
Besides language skills, the solution and the key to success is intercultural awareness. My mission is to convey both with enthusiasm.
